You already know what last night was—the Sturgeon Full Moon.
She was spectacular, wasn’t she?
She had me swimming in primordial waters all night long—relaxed, serene, silent. I’d never felt so at ease under her pulling tide. It was the feeling of knowing. Of understanding. Of certainty.
That rare, exquisite sense of a sure thing—something fully within my grasp. The satisfying pull of what I’ve called out for finally moving toward me. No effort. No performance. Just a steady current bringing it closer—gladly, willingly.
The sturgeon are an ancient fish, older than most mountains, older than most rivers. Fossils tell us they’ve been here since the early Cretaceous period—120 million years ago.
Everything about them is remarkable: their bony armor, their rich flesh, their precious roe. But what strikes me most is their stillness. Slow swimmers with no teeth, drawing their meals from the river floor like quiet vacuum cleaners.
With almost no natural predators, they grow massive—sometimes over 1,000 pounds—lumbering through deep waters with the weight of ancient memory. Unhurried. Unbothered. As if they understand abundance so deeply, they’ve grown bored with the proof of it.
The Indigenous peoples of the Great Lakes called August’s full moon the Sturgeon Moon for their abundance this time of year.
How fitting, beloveds, that we, too, are standing at the banks of an abundant season. Can you feel it? That pull toward slow, deep waters?
Don’t fight it.
Command it.
Plant all ten toes, push off, and let yourself drift toward it.
Fall into orbit with it.
Crawl toward it if you must—but don’t resist it.
There is enough for all of us.
Enough money. Enough power. Enough love.
Enough food. Enough medicine. Enough forgiveness.
Welcome not only what you need, but what you crave.
This month—this year—have it all.
Under this moon, three stones called to me:
Citrine for abundance and joy,
Aventurine for growth and opportunity,
Lapis Lazuli for wisdom and truth.
Your desire is enough—
but with a blessed talisman, your dreams become unstoppable.
Watch for the August Sturgeon Moon Drop—coming soon.
May it carry the deep, ancient strength of the waters that named it.
