What is a Talisman?

There is a lot of information out there about the meaning and magic of Talismans. Let me clear the fog with something simple: a Talisman draws in. An Amulet keeps away. That's the distinction that changed everything for me.

As a Priestess, a witch, and a woman grounded in her own power, I've never felt the need for amulets. I don't live in fear of what might come for me. If anything dark dares approach, it finds me protected - by my breath, my body, my herbs, my adornments, and my God. I believe in inviting light, not guarding against shadow.

Still, I understand the pull. We all want to feel safe. Some find comfort in amulets, but the magic I offer comes from a different place - a different posture. It isn't defensive. It's receptive

Here's how I remember the difference: Amulet starts with A like "away". It's designed to push things away - negativity, illness, bad energy. Talisman starts with T, like "toward". It draws things in - health, luck, abundance, courage.

Close your eyes.

Picture yourself wearing an Amulet. What are you shielding yourself from? How does that make you feel?

In the same way, picture yourself wearing a Talisman. What are you calling in? What are you open to receiving? What does it feel like to welcome the things you want, rather than pushing away the things you don't?

That's the magic I work with. That's the spell I offer. You don't need to be in defense mode anymore. Your desires, your joy, your blooming heart will draw in exactly what you need.

You found me for a reason.

Your armor awaits.
